Center to Reduce Cancer Health Disparities 2011

On Tuesday, July 12th through Friday July 15th representatives of the Meharry-Vanderbilt-TSU partnership will attend the Cancer Health Disparities 2011 Program Meetings in Bethesda, Maryland. The meeting location will be held at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center. The purpose for CHDC meetings is to provide a venue to exchange ideas and build collaborations that could advance cancer health disparities research and promote the training of diverse investigators. This four day meeting will include plenary sessions, programmatic meetings, a mock review session, skill-building workshops, networking opportunities, small group discussions, and poster competitions.

The Center to Reduce Cancer Health Disparities is central to NCI’s efforts to reduce the unequal burden of cancer in our society and to train the next generation of competitive researchers in cancer and cancer health disparities research.
